design concept

Eliica's exterior goal was based on the basic concepts, "make the most use of integrated platform", "pursue environment, safety, performance", "8 wheel drive structure" and also making the aerodynamic performance better, making the interior space much larger.The Main Change from 1^st Prototype is the wheel size, the wheel base and the overall heights. We made the wheel size smaller, the wheel base larger and the overall heights higher. From these and changes above, we achieved to make amuch larger interior space than the big saloon vehicle.

[ Interior design : mood(O)ma ]



The Electric Vehicle Laboratory and Inakage Laboratory, which has specialty in digital entertainment, are developing "mood(O)ma" together, which performs the mood of Eliica's interior in real time by receiving external information. We have suggested "transition of the interior", which interior was thought changeless, and now we will show an interior entertainment you have never seen. We will perform the interior space by using "oval display", which shows colors and patterns enfolding the interior performed ambience.
Eliica has a larger interior space than the conventional vehicles and made it possible to design it much freely by using integrated platform, which is an identity of electric vehicle structure. From this it began possible to offer a new entertainment value of interior performs. Mood(O)ma is an interior which is using the advantage of electric vehicles such as large space and the silence of the interior, and will offer the fun of the mood changing.

Mood(O)ma will perform both outside information and the mood to the interior and will suggest a new style of the interior space. Offering the electric vehicle of the next generation and the interior of the next generation will offer a new value-add to Eliica.
In the future, "mood(O)ma" will be placed in 2^nd proto type and after having driving tests, we are planning to load it to commercialized car.
